Okra and Cauliflower Stir fry



Ingredients :
  1. Okra/Ladies finger - 1/2 lb (around 2 cups cut into 1 cm rings)
  2. Cauliflower - 1/2 lb( about 1.5 cups broken into florets)
  3. Green chillies - 5 slit
  4. Curd - 3 tbsp
  5. Salt - to taste
  6. Oil - 3 tbsp
  7. Curry leaves - 2 springs
  8. Onion - 1 medium cut into thick pieces
  9. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  10. Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Method:
Heat oil in a non stick pan and add the mustard seeds.
Add in the turmeric powder ,green chillies, onions, okra and cauliflower and stir well.
Add in salt to taste and the curd and mix well.
Cover and cook on medium flame until the vegetables are 3/4 th cooked (about 10 minutes).
Stir fry in an open pan until the veggies turn slightly brown and crisp.

My first time trying it too - I had some Okra and some cauliflower leftover , both not enough to make anything by itself .So thought of doing a stir fry with both of them and it turned out pretty good.A friend has suggested that adding curd helps get the slime out of Okra ,that is how the curd went in.
