- Salted butter at room temperature- 150 gms
- light brown sugar - 80 gms
- granulated sugar - 80 gms
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- Egg - 1 large
- maida / all purpose flour - 225 gms
- cooking soda - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chocolate chips or chunks - 200 gms
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius
line 2 baking trays with wax paper
seive the flour , cooking soda and salt and keep aside
Add the butter and sugars into a bowl and beat until creamy.
add the vanila and egg and beat again.
add the flour mixture and fold in with a wooden spoon.
Add in the chocolate chips and stir well.
using a teaspoon scoop up cookie dough and place on baking tray with space between each cookie dough.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until sides are a light brown and the middle is still slightly soft.
Leave on the tray for 10 minutes to crisp up and then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
store in airtight containers.
