- Mushroom - 1 packet (about 2 cups cleaned and sliced)
- Onion - 3 tbsp chopped
- Green chillies - 3 chopped
- turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- grated coconut - 1/2 cup
- mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- curry leaves - 1 spring
- salt - to taste
- fresh cracked pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp
Heat oil and splutter the mustard seeds.
Add in the curry leaves and chopped onion, green chillies and turmeric powder and saute for a minute
Add in chopped mushroom and stir fry on high heat until the mushroom starts giving out water.
Fry on high heat stirring frequently until the mushroom is almost dry (water has evaporated)
reduce the flame and add the grated coconut.
mix well and stir fry for another 2 minutes.
Serve with rice.
