Homemade Butter from Milk cream

Ingredients :
  1. Milk Cream
  2. cold water
To collect cream from Milk - follow this process. You should do this for a few weeks until you get enough cream.
You need a clean container that is freezer safe.
Boil milk , cool it , Place it in the fridge until a thick layer of cream forms on top of the milk.
Scoop this cream with a slotted spoon and place in a freezer safe container and freeze. Repeat the process until you have enough cream to make butter .3-4 cups of cream would yield 1 cup of pure butter.

When ready to make butter , remove the cream from freezer and allow to come to room temperature .
Add 1 cup cream and 1 cup water into a blender and blend for 4 or 5 minutes.
Open the blender and scoop out the butter that forms on top.
Discard the remaining water.
Wash this butter in several changes of ice cold water . roll into a ball and squeeze slightly to remove the water content.
This is home made butter , if desired you can add salt to taste.
