Tomato /Thakkali pachadi


Ingredients:
  1. Ripe tomatoes - 4 chopped
  2. Onion - 1 chopped
  3. Green chillies - 8 cut into rings
  4. Dry red chillies - 2 broken into pieces
  5. Curry leaves - 1 spring
  6. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  7. Yogurt/curd - 2 cups
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Oil - 1 tsp
Method:

Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
When it splutters add the dry red chillies and fry .
Add onion,green chillies and curry leaves and saute.
Add the chopped tomato pieces and saute until cooked .
Turn the flame off and add in the beaten yogurt and mix well.Add salt to taste.

TIP : Avoid boiling after curd is added .The curd will split/separate.
