Calamari Dry Fry




Ingredients :

  1. 1 lb Squid/Calamari/Kanava - cleaned and cut
  2. Chilly powder - 2 tsp
  3. turmeric powder - 1/4'th tsp
  4. vinegar/tamarind paste/lime juice - to taste
  5. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  6. Curry leaves - 2 springs
  7. Shallots sliced - 5
  8. Oil and salt as needed

Method:
Marinate the cleaned calamari in a mixture of chilly powder,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste,vinegar and salt and keep it aside for 30 minutes .
Heat oil in a non stick pan and add in the shallots and curry leaves and saute until light brown. Add in the squid mixture and cover and cook for few minutes.
Uncover and stirfry until slightly browned.
