- Shrimp - 1 lb cleaned, deveined and tails left intact
- Chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Garlic powder - 1/2tsp
- pepper powder - 2 pinches
- Salt - to taste
- vinegar/lime juice - to taste
- coconut oil - 1 tsp
- curry leaves - 1 spring
- vegetable Oil - 5 tbsp(not included in the marinade)
Make a paste of all the ingredients except the 5 tbsp oil and apply on the shrimp and keep aside for 30 minutes.Heat oil in a non stick or cast iron frying pan .
you can shallow fry the shrimp in the pan or thread it on to bamboo skewers and fry it on a high flame until the shrimp is just cooked.Shrimp should not be overcooked , it becomes hard when cooked too long.
