Ingredients :
- Breadfruit/Kadachakka - 1 medium sized peeled and cut into small pieces
- Shallots - 6 crushed
- Dry chillies - 3 broken
- garlic - 3 cloves crushed
- Chilly powder - 3/4 tsp
- curry leaves - 2 springs
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
Method:
Cook the breadfruit pieces with 1/2 cup water , salt to taste and turmeric powder until it is soft and the water is evaporated.
Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
Add in the crushed shallots,garlic,curry leaves and dry chillies and fry until slightly brown.
Add in the chilly powder and stir without getting burnt.
Add in the cooked breadfruit and mix well.
Fry on a medium flame for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
