- Okra - 1 lb cut into 1/2 inch pieces in a diagonal
- Tomato - 1 medium chopped
- Onion - 1 big chopped
- galric - 1 clove chopped
- corriander powder - 1tsp
- chilly powder - 1tsp
- turmeric powder - 1/4'th tsp
- salt - to taste
- Oil - 3 tsp
Heat oil in a pan and add in the curry leaves,onion and garlic and saute until onion is slightly browned.
add in the chilly,corriander and turmeric powders and saute.
Add in tomatoes and saute until oil starts separating.
Add in okra and stir .cover and cook until okra is cooked.
Garnish with corriander leaves.
As a variation you can use meat masala ,chicken masala ,sambar powder etc instead of the chilly,corriander and turmeric powder.
