Parippu vada


Ingredients:
  1. Toor Dal soaked in water for 5 hours - 2 cups
  2. Green chillies - 3
  3. shallots- 4
  4. curry leaves - 1 spring
  5. dry red chillies - 3salt - to taste
  6. Oil - to deep fry
  7. ginger - a very small piece (1/2 tsp chopped)

Method:

Crush the soaked dal with chillies,shallots,ginger and curry leaves to a very coarse paste.
2 pulses in the food processor should do it. Heat the oil to medium high. Form vadas and deepfry in the hot oil.
