French Toast


Ingredients :
  1. Bread - 6 slices
  2. Egg - 1
  3. Milk - 1 cup
  4. vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  5. Sugar - to taste (around 4 tsp for medium sweet toasts)
  6. Oil /butter - 2 tsp
Method:

Mix together the milk,sugar,eggs and vanilla essence in a flat bowl.
Heat a non stick pan and add 1 tsp butter and swirl to coat.
Dip the bread slice in the milk/egg mixture and fry until slightly browned.
Serve dusted with powdered sugar, honey,syrup etc if you prefer not to add sugar to the egg/milk mix.
