3 Grain Puttu (Ragi,Wheat,Rice)

Ingredients :
  1. Rice flour - 1/2 cup
  2. Ragi flour - 1/2 cup
  3. Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
  4. Grated coconut - 1 cup + 1/2 cup
  5. Salt - to taste
  6. Water - as required
Method:
Dry roast the ragi and wheat flour for 5 minutes in a frying pan.
Once it cools down , mix the 3 powders with salt to taste.
Add in water little by little and mix lightly with your fingers until you get a wet breadcrumb like mixture.
Add in 1/2 cup of grated coconut and mix lightly.
 In a puttu steamer or cocnut shell add a tbsp of grated coconut , fill with the wet mixed powder .
Steam for 5 minutes or until you see the steam come from the top of the flour.
Serve with ripe banana, setamed plantain, Meat stew, Channa curry , fish curry , green gram curry, Pappad .
