Ingredients:
- Salted dried fish - approximately 1 cup measure
- Fresh grated coconut - 1 cup
- Green chillies - 6
- shallots - 4
- curry leaves - few
- tamarind - marble sized ball
- Oil - 5 tbsp
Method:
if the fish is too salty you need to soak it in water for 30 minutes to remove some of the salt and drain the fish .
Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until it is crisp.
Remove fish from oil and drain on paper towel.
Add all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until combines and coarsely ground.
The salted fish usually has enough salt so you will not have to add more salt.
looks yummy and tasty.. want to have that with nice more kulambu...
