Chicken Burger

White meat tends to be dry , in order to enhance the texture and add some moisture I have added onions, tomatoes, bread soaked in milk and some indian spices to the ground chicken.

Ingredients:
  1. Chicken breast - 2 (or you could use ground chicken)
  2. tomatoes - 1 small diced
  3. Onion - 1 small chopped
  4. garlic - 1 clove chopped
  5. ginger - 1/4th tsp chopped fine
  6. soy sauce - 2 tsp
  7. Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  8. red chilly powder - 1/4th tsp
  9. Oil - 1 tbsp
  10. bread - 2 slices soaked in milk and squeezed

Method:
Grind the chicken breast by pulsing in the food processor for 30 seconds.Keep the ground chicken aside.
Heat a pan and add a tsp of oil and saute the ginger , garlic, onions and tomatoes .Add the chilly powder and saute until cooked.
Turn off the flame and add the ground chicken into the sauteed mixture. Add in the soaked bread and soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Combine this well.
Heat a non stick pan and add a tsp of oil and swirl it around .
Take one hand full of chicken mixture and form into a patty and saute it on the hot pan.
The mixture will be very moist , so you might not be able to for a neat patty - Just drop it on the pan and form the patty on the pan .
The patty should be slightly browned when cooked.
For a low carb version - serve the chicken patty with some salad Or assemble into a sandwich and serve with lettuce , tomatoes, onions, pickle , ketchup and mayo .
